Burial Park MemorialsWoodland burials parks have been increasing in number for the last few years and provide a viable alternative to crematorium grounds and cemeteries. They offer every person the option to have a burial or ashes internment along with a service and ceremony that is totally personal to them whatever the faith or denomination, whilst also providing ecological and environmental benefits. I have completed many memorials for burial parks throughout the country and oversees including all of the greenacres burial parks, www.grenacresburialparks.co.uk in Colney, Epping and Chiltern and now Rainford. I’ve built a good relation with these sites always make sure my memorials conform to any stipulations of size and environmental issues of no P.V.A glues metal screws or harmful paints or finishes so my memorials are 100% bio degradable. I consult, design and hand make all the memorials myself from my Norfolk workshop and deliver throughout the country. Due to the fact the memorials are outside I normally use English Oak as it’s the most durable wood to use so there’s no foreign hard woods from unsustainable sources. One of the things my many happy clients appreciate is that the memorials are totally personal so they can become a real reflection of what the loved one meant to them. This ranges from favourite cars, child’s toys to family pets such as dogs or cats both celebrating they’re life and commemorating they’re passing. I’ve also found It can also become an integral part of the grieving process offering a focal point to mark the place and space a loved one rests in whilst bringing a comfort and closure. Many people say they feel their loved one isn’t alone any more. Also the actual process of designing the memorial is a very organic cathartic thing and can involve many friends and families input to help shape and mould the final design which I’m more than happy to do. I look at it as I’m here to design and realise my clients wishes.
